DIGESTIVO (Bitter Tonic)

$32.00
sold out

STORY

I have been dreaming of making a bitter tonic since I began offering medicine in 2015. I spent many years developing the idea, wanting it to be representative of my ancestry and absolutely delicious.

Everything came into fruition when I realized that Pineapples carry a digestive aid called bromelain. Piña (Pineapple in spanish) was my favorite fruit growing up. From there, all the other ingredients harmoniously came together to create a bitter formula with spicy and tart undertones.

WHAT IS A BITTER TONIC?

Bitters are herbal tonics that stimulate and support the digestive system. Taken 15 minutes before a meal, bitters help your body digest while easing gas and digestive discomfort.

Bitters are especially helpful for folks who hold tension in their stomachs, when traveling or eating meals outside the home, and in any situation where a little digestive support is needed.

For best results, take bitters directly on the tongue. Tasting the bitter taste is an important part of signaling the medicine to your body. Drinking a bit of water, tea, or juice after a dose is helpful for those who have a hard time with bitter flavors.

DOSAGE

Take 15 drops within 15 minutes of a meal.

INGREDIENTS

Organic ingredients: Dandelion root, Mugwort, Pineapple, Bitter Orange, Cinnamon infused into cane alcohol with essences of Chaparral, Sagebrush, and Yerba Santa
